The two people who were found deceased in a residence in Cedar Bluff on December 3rd, 2023 died from accidental drug overdose, according to Police Chief Jeremy Stepps.
He said they have just received the confirmation from the toxicology report. Stepps did not identify the drugs being used, but did confirm they were laced with fentanyl.
The deceased were 25 year old Reagan Mychelle Johnson of Gaylesville and 28 year old Darren Isaiah Higgins.
Chief Stepps said that no one is expected to be charged in connection to the deaths.
