In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

CHRISTOPHER LEE, 19 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree;

DAVEN ELLIS, age 26 of Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on two counts of Failure to Appear;

JOSHUA HUNTER, age 36 from Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Obstructing Justice Using a False ID;

RAYMOND SHEPARD, age 42 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear on a Probation Revocation Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

DEBORAH HANKAMER – age 64 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety for DUI/Driving Under the Influence;

And

DANIELLE ADKISON – 41 of Piedmont – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Assault 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 107 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
