In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

SAMUEL HUGHES – age 19 of Leesburg – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Failure to Appear for a Switched Tag / Four Counts of Driving While License Suspended / and Failure to Register that Vehicle;

And

JOSEPH WATTERS – 38 from Gadsden – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Attempting to Elude and also with Failure to Appear/Domestic Violence Strangulation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
