Mrs.Emma Ruth Roberts, age 61 of Centre, went to be with her Heavenly Father, May 23rd, 2024. She passed peacefully within her own home. She was a native of Cherokee County.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 25th at 2PM at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shane Swafford officiating. Family will receive friends from 12PM until the time of service with burial at Hebron Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her great nephews.
She’s preceded in death by her mother, Rena J. Roberts; father Homer G. Roberts; brother, Billy “Jack” Roberts and beloved dog, Ghost.
She’s survived by her husband of 26 years, David Scott; daughters, Cristy (Jeff) O’Dell, Casey (Jonathan) Hightower; son, Cody Rutledge; grandchildren, Chasity, Christopher, Calynn, Nicholas, Austin & Erin; great grandchildren, Fisher & Baker. She’s also survived by her wonderful two sisters who never left her side, Mrs. Brenda Nunnelly (Danny) & Shelia Mackey (David).
