This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service Office in Birmingham.

Outlook through Tonight.

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible across portions of Central Alabama today (on Friday), generally noon through 9 PM. Threats will be damaging wind gusts and hail.

Saturday through next Thursday.

Additional severe thunderstorms will be possible – Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Threats are damaging wind gusts and hail.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

 Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed today (on Friday), Saturday, and Sunday.
