District Attorney Summer Summerford – would like to express Heartfelt Appreciation and send a sincere “Thank you” to The Children’s Advocacy Center of Cherokee County and Alabama Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers, Inc. for sponsoring the recent training for the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).

According to Summerford retired detective Mike Johnson has traveled to 20 different Children’s Advocacy Center’s across Alabama this spring –  including DeKalb and Cherokee Counties – in order to provide important training to improve the investigation, and prosecution, of cases involving children.

This a case of teamwork being performed at the very HIGHEST level – by extremely dedicated individuals – to serve those who need it most.
