Cherokee County Arrest Files for Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024

In the Cherokee County Arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

JOSHUA TAYLOR, age 31 of Gaylesville – arrested by Centre Police on the charges of Bail Jumping, Bail Jumping 2nd Degree (two counts), and also Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Driving While License Suspended;

BILLY MITCHELL, age 65 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of DUI/Driving Under the Influence, and also VPL/Violation of the Prohibition Law;

MASON GENTRY, age 20 of Fruithurst – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and he is currently On Hold for Another Agency;

BRYAN HULSEY – age 45 of Fort Payne – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and the Unlawful  Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, in addition to Failure to Appear on previous charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – also Failure to Appear on prior charges of Leaving the Scene of an accident;

TIMOTHY WHITE, age 49 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear on previous charges of Speeding (Over 25 MPH Beyond Limit), Driving While Revoked – also Having a Switched Tag and Operating a Vehicle Without Insurance;

CHRISTOPHER BUSH, age 46 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Failure to Appear, on a prior charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

BRAD FIFE, age 40 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on a Probation Revocation;

RONNIE CRANE – age 65 of Scottsboro – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Revocation;

And

JEREMY BLACKMON, age 43 from Gaylesville, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
