Cherokee Rock Village Park is hosting the East Coast Competition of the National Rock Crawlers this weekend, May 16th through the 19th.
The event will consist of 10 classes based on different requirements of the vehicles. There will be several gate courses drivers will have to compete through.
The Rock Crawler vehicles are one tenth scale, electric powered with some being performance based, built to crawl anything.
The actual competition will be Saturday and Sunday with drivers from as far east as Maryland and as far west as California. Most of the drivers have been to Cherokee Rock Village for previous competitions.
Spectators will be able to enjoy the Rock Crawlers performance combined with great food from food truck Vvendors Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
This is sure to be a fun and family oriented event.
