In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

TONY CARGILL, age 19 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on a charge of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

JEFFREY PERRY, age 25 from Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree;

JIMMIE SHEPARD, age 41 of Centre, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – in addition to the Failure to Appear on prior counts of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree;

KALIYAH HACKETT, age 25 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department and charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

And

DOYLE FORD, age 59 from Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on the charges of DUI/Driving Under the Influence and an  Expired Tag – also Driving While Suspended, and an Insurance Violation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 101 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
