Governor Kay Ivey on Wednesday announced she has set the time frame for the execution of Alan Eugene Miller to occur beginning at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 and expiring Friday, September 27, 2024. The execution will be carried out by nitrogen hypoxia.
