In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

FRANK SPRATLEY, age 42 of Biloxi, Mississippi was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and charged with Attempting to Elude as well as a Violation of the Prohibition Law;

IAN GREGG, age 21 of Fort Payne, was arrested by Leesburg Police, on the charges of Driving Under the Influence, and also the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

And

JAMES WILLIAMS, age 26 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and he’s also On Hold for Another Agency.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 96 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
