In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

AARON BRUNER, age 45 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

ETHEL JETER, age 62 of Gaylesville, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, with a charge of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

JAMES WILLIAMS – 53 of Cedartown, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on the charges of Altering Firearm Identification, Certain Persons Forbidden to Carry a Firearm, the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

OMAR PATTERSON, age 58 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
