Alabama Man Charged with Exploitation of the Elderly in Georgia
Truitt Clifford Alford, age 48 of Centre, was arrested after reports stated he illegally used an elderly Lindale, Georgia couple’s bank card, in order to make over $2,210 worth of purchases – between October 15th of 2023 and January 8th of 2024.
The victims were listed as being 87 and 91 years of age. Alford is also accused of “taunting” the victim’s, telling them that “there’s nothing they can do”.
Alford is charged with financial transaction card fraud, unauthorized use of a financial transaction card and felony exploitation of the elderly.
