At approximately 5:50 on Wednesday morning, an 18-wheeler jackknifed and came to rest on its side, across the Chesnut Bypass in Centre, completely blocking all lanes of traffic.  Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved and the driver of the big rig appeared to be fine as he spoke to law enforcement officials at the scene.

 It’s unclear what led to that accident.

The truck was removed by Fagan’s Wrecker Service around 7:30am; the Chesnut Bypass is now “all clear.”
