Last Friday was Cleanup Day in the City of Gadsden! Hundreds of city employees were joined by dozens of citizens and some crews from local businesses to clean up our city. Our crews spread out to all seven districts of Gadsden along with seven trailers and four loader trucks.
Overall, we picked up 17.5 tons of trash and debris (35,000 pounds) off our streets!
This is the second year that we’ve done a citywide cleanup, and we want to thank everyone who participated and made this event a success.
