Cherokee County Republican Breakfast Featuring Alabama State Auditor Andrew Sorrell

Alabama State Auditor Andrew Sorrell

It was a HUGE day Saturday at the Easy Street Restaurant & Bar in Centre (located at 1605 West Main Street), as the Cherokee Country Republican Party hosted their regular quarterly Breakfast Event (on April 27th).

That meeting featured, both a local speaker – Dwayne Amos, the Cherokee County Circuit Clerk – and, serving as Keynote Speaker – Andrew Sorrell, Alabama’s State Auditor.

Amos spoke on a number of different items, including his role as, and the duties of, being Circuit Clerk for Cherokee County.

He shared not only WHAT he does – but HOW he usually goes about each function, and its importance to the community, in many ways that people often – simply don’t stop and think about.

Afterwards, Alabaman State Auditor, Andrew Sorrell – took the mike and he never slowed down, and spent approximately an hour, sharing stories of what he’s worked so tirelessly to accomplish, what made him become truly interested in politics from a relatively young age – and – just a FEW of the MANY things that he’s faced during his years working for the state of Alabama.
