In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JOSEPH CLARK, age 54 of Trion, Georgia was arrested by Centre Police on charges of Theft of Property 4th Degree;

THOMAS CARTER, age 31 of Gaylesville was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree and also Harassment;

And

GARY SHANKLES, age 59 from Henagar was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies – and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance/Trafficking – and also Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 98 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
