A Gaylesville Man was Arrested after Recently Threatening Medics
According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver – medics responded to a residence at the Gaylesville four-way stop on Friday (April 26th) – after the homeowner called 9-1-1 and requested EMS. Medics later requested law enforcement, when the man threatened them with a firearm.
Both Deputies and Investigators quickly responded and arrested 85 year old James Wayne Shepherd of Gaylesville – for Making a Terrorist Threat 1st Degree – 8 counts of the Possession of a Gambling Device – and also 3 counts of Harassment (in unrelated cases).
