LINCOLN – Cedar Bluff’s Lacie Roer earned three medals to help lead the Lady Tigers to a runner-up finish to Winterboro in the Class 1A, Section 3 meet at Lincoln on Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Tigers accumulated 121 total points. Winterboro scored 202 points.

Roer earned first place in the shot put (84’2”), first in the discus (84’2”), second in the javelin (84’9”). The Lady Tigers took first in the 4×800 meter relay (12:29.28). They also claimed third in the 4×400 meter relay (4:59.10).

Skye Jordan was third in the 400-meter dash (1:05.65). Paitlyn Walker earned third in the 800-meter run (2:53.29). Cassandra Davis was third in the long jump (14’) and Pearl Smither claimed third in the triple jump (29’8.5”).

The Tiger boys finished fourth with 63.5 points. Winterboro won the 1A boys meet with 180 points.

Zyrese Wynn led the Tiger boys with a first-place finish in the pole vault (9’6”). Carter Dillingham took third in the shot put (41’7”). The Tigers were second in the 4×400 meter relay (3:44.50).
