In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

MICHAEL SHROPSHIRE, age 34 from Centre, was arrested by the Board of Alabama Pardons & Paroles and charged with a Parole Violation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
