The male driver was hurt in a single-vehicle accident involving a chicken truck in DeKalb County.
According to Alabama State Troopers that wreck occurred just after 4:00 Thursday morning on Highway 227 – when that big rig – a 2023 Peterbilt – rolled over before coming to a stop in the roadway. Traffic was blocked afterwards, for an extended period of time. The driver, a resident of Grant, Alabama – did require medical treatment as a result of the wreck.
That matter remains under investigation.
