In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JONATHAN NICHOLSON, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department, charged with Failure to Appear, on a previous charge of a Seat Belt Violation;

BEVERLY MAXWELL, age 54 of Gadsden – was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department – and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

NATASHA ELROD age 42 of Fort Payne was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police – and charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Running a Stop Sign;

RANDY WRIGHT, age 51 of Collinsville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of Failure to Appear;

SHANE HUDGINS, age 36 of Gaylesville was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs;

KERRY WILLIAMS, age 42 of Gaylesville – was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department – and charged with Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
