In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JAMIE SMITH, age 37 from Birmingham arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence;

CODY HANEY, age 32 of Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – also – Domestic-Menacing-Knife;

And

CHRISTINA FILMORE, age 41 of Daphne arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear on previous counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as a Probation Revocation.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 91 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
