In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

TERRY MCCLENDON, age 56 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on Domestic-Harassment-Family charges;

And

JOSHUA MCMURRAY – 41 of Piedmont – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Littering.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
