According to a news release from the DeKalb County Homeland Security Emergency Management Agency – early on Thursday morning, there was a collision between a DeKalb County Alabama School Bus and one other vehicle on Highway 40, East of Henagar.
Fortunately, there were NO STUDENTS on the bus at the time, and the bus driver sustained only minor injuries.
Sadly, the driver of the other vehicle was fatally injured in the mishap.
