In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

WILLIAM VESSELL, age 40 from Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts) and Attempting to Elude, as well as the Failure to Appear on the previous charges of the Theft of Property 4th Degree (two Counts) – Negotiating Worthless Negotiable Instruments – Attempting to Elude – and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

REBECCA NORWOOD, age 57 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

And

WENDY FLETCHER, age 45 of Collinsville – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 93 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
