BOAZ – Nevaeh Gaidurgis lost 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 3 singles championship match against Donoho’s Avery Barnett at the Class 4A-5A, Section 6 tennis tournament in Boaz on Wednesday.
This is the first season in five years that Coach Amanda Boozer has coached and had a player make it to a championship match.

As a team, the Lady Warriors finished fourth in the sectional tournament, falling just shot of the state tournament.
