In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JEREMY HILTON age 37 of Iron City was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear/Burglary 3rd Degree;

ALEX POOLE, age 32 of Leesburg, arrested by Leesburg Police, on charges of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree;

BARRY CAVIN, age 54 of Gaylesville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear/Switched Tag;

And

JOSHUA MORGAN, age 43 of Fort Payne, arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 93 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
