Warmer in Alabama this Week

The warmest temperatures of the year 2024 are in the forecast for much of Alabama this week – and the National Weather Service – is forecasting highs statewide to climb into the 80’s throughout the workweek.  Much of the week will be dry however there’s a chance for rain and a few strong storms for the northern part of Alabama on Wednesday; a Level 1 risk means that isolated severe storms will be possible.

The National Weather Service, is forecasting highs to climb all the way to the mid-80’s nearly statewide today (Monday) and the highs Tuesday are forecast to be in the 80’s again.  Wednesday is forecast to be a bit “cooler”, with those highs only reaching the upper 70’s in parts of Alabama that could get more clouds and rain.

Thursday could very well be one of the warmest days of the week, with a high temperature forecast to reach the mid-to-upper 80’s – then Friday – we could have spots very close to hitting 90 degrees.  More rain could enter the forecast later Friday and into the weekend and temperatures could be a bit cooler – in the 70’s – for the weekend.
