SPRING GARDEN – Lilly McCain tossed a one-hitter with two walks and five strikeouts in six innings in leading the Spring Garden Lady Panthers to an 11-1 softball victory over visiting Jacksonville Christian on Monday.

Addie Word led the Lady Panthers at the plate by going 3-for-4 with a double, a run and two RBIs. Helena Ingram added a pair of hits, including a double, with a walk, a run and a RBI. Olivia Law also had two hits with two runs and a RBI.

Avery Steward doubled, walked, scored a run and had a RBI. Layla Ingram collected a hit, a walk, three runs and two RBIs. Maggie Reedy finished with a hit, a walk, two runs and a RBI. McCain and Maggie Jarrett both drew a walk. Hayden Parris scored a run.

Spring Garden is scheduled to host Hokes Bluff on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
