Eight run seventh inning lifts Gaylesville softball past Collinsville

COLLINSVILLE – Emma Givens went 4-for-5 with a run and a RBI in leading the Gaylesville Lady Trojans to a 10-4 softball win at Collinsville on Monday.

Trailing 3-2 in the top of the seventh inning, Gaylesville pushed eight runs across the plate to blow the game open.

Gracie Dawson delivered a pair of hits, including a solo home run for the Lady Trojans. She also scored three runs and drove in three more. Jayden Dobbins delivered a pair of hits.

Lydia Reynolds and Bayleigh Ratliff both had a hit, a run and a RBI.

Reynolds’ hit was a double. Aubree Colbert had a hit and scored a run.
