In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

CHRISTOPHER CHANDLER – age 32 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree and Interference with a Domestic Violence Call;

ERNEST LANKFORD, age 36 of Leesburg was arrested by Centre Police on a charge of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

NICHOLAS CANNESTRO, 59 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence;

TINA PARKER – age 59 of Centre was arrested by Centre Police – and was charged with Retail Theft 3rd Degree;

JOHN RIDDLE, age 31 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and is On Hold for Another Agency;

AND

BENJAMIN DAVIS, 45 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 94 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
