In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

PEYTON PHILLIPS, age 31 of Rome, Georgia – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

JIMMY LAPIER, age 46 of Piedmont, arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety – and charged with (DUI) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol;

JEFFERY BALDWIN, age 38 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department, and is currently On Hold for Another Agency;

And

BARBARA WAUGH, age 50 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of Theft of Property 4th Degree, and Theft of Services.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 93 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
