Gadsden Mayor Craig Ford Says Ribbon Cutting Means Progress

Today, (Friday) there was a ribbon cutting ceremony in Gadsden with the Alabama Cancer Care Center of Gadsden.  David Hooks, the Director of Etowah County Industrial Development Authority, told those in attendance for the event it was two years in the works. The ground breaking was almost one year to the day and it will be a unique cancer center facility. Alabama Cancer Care will offer advanced imaging and many other areas. It will serve Etowah County and the surrounding areas. Mayor Craig Ford, took the podium and gave many thanks to many people that made the Alabama Cancer Care of Gadsden Center possible. He told the group ribbon cutting means progress. Many, more people showed up then anticipated because people want excellent cancer patient care. The people of Etowah County have to be very happy with a Cancer Center of this magnitude being opened in their area. Mayor Ford, touched upon the natural beauty that is offered in the view of patients in the near future. This is a first call cancer facility. The Alabama Cancer Care Center of Gadsden is an all win situation for patients and everyone involved.
