A single-vehicle crash, involving a pedestrian, occurring around 3:40pm Wednesday (April 10th) in DeKalb County, has claimed the life of an Ider man.
Randy Taylor, age 44 was fatally injured when he was struck by the 2011 Mini Cooper driven by an 18-year-old. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 75, near DeKalb County 789, around two miles north of Ider.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division – continue to investigate.
