SAND ROCK – Morgan Tucker went 3-for-5 with three RBIs, including the game-winning hit that scored Caleb Yoder, lifting Sand Rock to a 10-9 area baseball win over Gaston on Monday.
Coleton Pettus picked up a hit and three RBIs for the Wildcats. Elijah Hood drove in two runs.
Cam Gifford picked up the win in relief of Yoder.
The two teams are scheduled to conclude their series at Gaston on Thursday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
