At around 10:10 on Sunday morning – a single-vehicle accident occurred in Cherokee County – approximately five miles East of Centre.
According to reports the vehicle, a 2014 Hyundai Elantra – struck a ditch, and then overturned after leaving 5730 County Road 22.

Immediately responding to the scene, were members of the Spring Creek Fire Department, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, and Cherokee EMS.
The driver, listed as a female from Centre, was transported for the treatment of injuries sustained in the mishap.
