The “Weiss Lake Crappie Rodeo” has attracted anglers, from both far and wide to Cherokee County to take part in the HUGE fishing event, going on now through April 30th!
1,001 tagged fish were released into Weiss Lake for this HUGE event, and fishermen are here now – to show off their skills – and hopefully fill their pockets.
Over $130,000 in cash and prizes is up for grabs – simply visit the County Chamber of Commerce, OR the Weiss Lake Improvement Association, for additional information, including the many locations where you can buy your “Fishing Badge” (which is required), a long list of weigh-in locations and much more.
