It was 50 years ago today Henry Aaron of the Atlanta Braves broke Babe Ruth’s Home Run Record.  Aaron hit #715 off La Dodgers pitcher Al Downing. I remember where I was watching it too at my families home in Hallandale, Florida. This was a very monumental record in the history of all sports ever that was broken by Aaron.Years later Barry Bonds broke his record but that’s another story . But, 50 years ago today Henry Aaron became and will always be the Home Run King. What he did for baseball was masterful.
