CEDAR BLUFF – Spring Garden softball pitcher Avery Steward held Cedar Bluff to just four hits and had six strikeouts in a 3-0 area softball win on Thursday.
Steward also led the Lady Panthers at the plate by going 2-for-2 with a pair of walks and a run. Maggie Reedy also had a pair of hits and drove in a pair of runs. Olivia Law added a hit and a run. Addie Word finished with a hit.
Spring Garden travels to Sand Rock on Monday at 5 p.m. Cedar Bluff hosts Collinsville on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
