SAND ROCK – The Collinsville Panthers clinched the Class 2A, Area 14 baseball title Thursday with a 14-1 victory at Sand Rock behind a one-hitter by Gavin Lang through five innings.

Lang, who finished with two walks 12 strikeouts, also led the Panthers (18-4, 11-0) at the plate by going 3-for-5 with three runs. Jake Middlebrooks managed a pair of hits, a pair of runs and three RBIs. Zach Clanton was 2-for-3 with a walk. Mason McAteer went 2-for-5 with a run and two RBIs.

Will Edmondson doubled, scored a run and had three RBIs. Jeremiah Killian contributed a hit, a walk and a RBI. Cooper Coker collected three walks, two runs and a RBI.

Kane Robison had the lone hit for Sand Rock. Caiden Bullard walked and drove in a run. Seth Holland also walked.

Sand Rock travels to Crossville on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Collinsville hosts Sylvania in a doubleheader on Monday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
