FYFFE – Grayson Tucker went 2-for-3 at the plate with a walk and three RBIs in leading the Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 7-2 softball victory at Fyffe on Thursday.
Lanie Williams and Anna Walker both went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and a RBI. Abby Lea was 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI. Audrey Haygood also finished with a pair of hits.
Emma Hill earned the win after working four innings of no-hit ball. She walked one and struck out seven. Lea also tossed three innings. She gave up two earned runs on three hits with no walks and three strikeouts.
Cherokee County hosts Ashville on Monday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
