A 43-year-old resident of Lyerly, Georgia, was charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence – that, following a traffic stop, recently conducted in Summerville.
According to a report released Monday of this week – an officer on patrol on Highland Avenue around 1:00am, noticed a vehicle failing to maintain a single lane.
The officer ran the tag, which came back with a suspended registration.
After initiating a traffic stop and also speaking with the driver the officer noticed signs of impairment. Upon further investigation – he also found an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. Charome Undera Powell, was arrested and taken to Jail, on charges of Driving Under the Influence.
