Two Accidents, Two Injuries / Etowah and Cherokee Counties

According to reports at the Alabama State Troopers Post in Jacksonville, troopers worked two separate accidents involving injuries recently.

The first took place in neighboring Etowah County – when a 2010 Dodge Journey, driven by a male from Boaz – left the roadway and it a ditch.  The crash caused the driver to be immediately transported to Riverview Regional Medical Center for treatment.  That wreck was listed as occurring at 8:38pm Monday.

Overnight – during the early morning hours of Tuesday at approximately 3:00am – a female driver out of Centre – was involved in a single-vehicle crash, on County Road 19.  According to reports, that 2008 Mazda 3 – left the roadway and hit a ditch.  Afterwards, the driver was transported to Atrium Health Floyd Cherokee Medical Center for treatment.

Both wrecks remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
