In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

MISTY FUGATT, age 40 of Piedmont, was arrested by Centre Police on the charge of Theft of Property 4th Degree;

And

TED SWEAT, age 46 from Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 97 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
