SPRING GARDEN – The Spring Garden Lady Panthers scored five first-inning runs and cruised to a 10-0 softball win over Ragland on Monday.
Avery Steward went 2-for-3 at the plate with a walk and two runs. She also picked up the win in the circle after tossing five innings. She gave up five hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
Helena Ingram also had a pair of hits and scored a run. Olivia Law homered, scored twice and drove in three runs. Addie Word doubled, scored a run and had a RBI. Maggie Jarrett collected a hit, a run and two RBIs. Layla Ingram and Rylie Ham both had a hit, a run and a RBI. Maggie Reedy finished with a hit and scored a run.
Spring Garden travels to Cedar Bluff on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
