Community Supporting Family Affected By Recent Fire in North Georgia

The cause of a house fire, on Plum Street in Trion, Georgia, last Monday – remains under investigation.   The fire happened in the early morning hours of March 25th, and totally destroyed a mobile home and damaged another nearby structure.    A single-mother and her children were displaced by the fire.

The American Red Cross was contacted to help those victims of that fire, and there have been efforts to help provide support for the family locally as well.  Drop-off locations were established at 156 Silver Circle in Summerville and Chattooga High School for those wishing to donate essential items.

Also – Financial contributions can be made directly to the victim’s Cash App account: $MejiaMom88.
