In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
THOMAS DEMPSEY, 70 of Centre, arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety and charged with Driving Under the Influence.
Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Currently – there are 95 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
