Mr. Brad Dewayne Grimes, 58, of Cedar Bluff, passed away at his home, March 22nd, 2024.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Smith Grimes, sister Laura (Allan) Keith,  step-daughter Teri Hicks, stepson Matthew McKinney,  grandsons Jayden Dixon and Marcus McKinney and also several nieces, nephews and great-nephews.

Mr Grimes requested that a celebration of his life be held at The Spring Creek Classic Car Museum Cabin on County Road 77, in Cedar Bluff. The memorial will be held April 20th, 2024 at 1:00pm CST. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.

Brad was preceded in death by his sister Paula Grimes Mitchell

He was the son of the late Billy Wayne and Dorothy Faye Grimes and was a life-long resident of Cherokee County.  Brad was employed by Vulcan Materials Company as a Heavy Equipment Technician.

Brad’s love of Chevy trucks was surpassed only by his love for family and friends.
