Three people were injured Sunday afternoon in a single vehicle accident, taking place in Cherokee County.
According to State Troopers the mishap, involving a 2018 Chevrolet Trax occurred around 3:45pm on Alabama Highway 9, when the female driver left the roadway and struck a number of trees.
She, along with a male passenger and eight-year old child, were all taken to Gadsden Regional Medical Center for treatment, afterwards.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
